The Witch of Blackbird Pond

The Witch of Blackbird Pond

This is a classic! It was one of the books I've read for my Book club, it's amazing! Beautiful descriptions, I honestly thought it was kind of like a soap opera, with everyone hooking up with the wrong person xD But yeah. If you haven't read it already, read it!

Okay, dunno what the yellows about, but if won't go away! xD

You wish!

You wish

Verrry! Fun book! Crazy and loveable characters! It's about and orphan boy who has a really rough(don't they all :( ) and then he gets a B-day wish, and he wishes he has unlimited wishes, cause the "wish faries" to spazz out, cuz then they won't have enough wishes for all the other people, so they kid-nap him, and.. Stuff. Hehe.

I just figured out there are four of them! =0 I knew it was a series, but I didn't know it'd gotten that far, well, I'll be renting the next one ASAP! =D

Varjak Paw and Outlaw Varjak Paw (Hheheheh =3 )

ADORABLE BOOKS!!! They're kinda "kung-fu cat" kinda style, which is AWESOME!
They make for a pretty short read, mostly because you just can't put them down! Great plot, love-able characters(or cats :P ) and very descriptive. They're sort of like the Warrior's series, if you like those books, you'll LOVE this, and even if you don't like those books, you'll love this! ^_^

Curse of the Grimoire series

The trip to London was supposed to be for a simple reading of the will of some distant relative. Instead, things have gone terribly wrong. Jarvey Midion's parents are nowhere to be found, and he is suddenly in the middle of a mystery--a mystery involving the Grimoire, a magical book that has the power to transport people through time.
When Jarvey gets too close to the ominous tome, he is instantly transported to Lunnon, a city that is not quite of the past, but definitely not of the present day. There Jarvey must team up with the Free Folk, a ragtag gang of orphan kids who run wild on the streets. One of them wants to help him use the Grimoire to get back to his own time. But can he trust her?

Josef Holub books

An Innocent Soldier
An engrossing novel about a young farmhand, Adam, who is tricked into service in Napoleon's Grande Armée on the eve of his disastrous invasion of Russia, in 1811. "Less than a quarter of the hundreds of thousands of soldiers returned safely home," a historical note tells us. As the aide to an aristocratic young lieutenant, Adam is spared much of the agony, though not all, as he witnesses the ill-fated adventure.
Hahaha! I didn't write that, but I found it on a site, it pretty much explains it.
WARNING! Josef Holub is a verrry graphic writer, he tells is like it is, man! So don't say I didn't warn you, if you decide to read it, and put it down on the first chapter in disgust!

The Landon Snow Series

Landon Snow

This is a GREAT series, and even better, it's Christian!!! =D YAAAY!! I really like these books because it's different, it's not cliche at all, and I think that the main character is very.. Average :)
I don't like his little sister, which gets introduced into the second book, she's too perfect xD But that's just me, I REALLY suggest these books!!

Seven Wonder's of Sassafras Springs

This is a very, very sweet book about a boy who wants to go see the world, and see the Seven Wonders. His 'pa' makes a deal with him, that if h can find Seven wonders, here in Sassafras Springs, then he'd buy him a train ticket to go visit his aunt and uncle. So the story is about him and his dog searcing his little town in the middle of nowhere for seven wonders.
I really like this book, and I think everyone that reads the blog would too. SO GET OUT AND RENT IT! Yeesh... Ok, I'm good.
